Mesotherapy - The Red Carpet Treatment!

Mesotherapy is a very popular skin treatment, and uses a series of tiny injections in the skin, containing a potent mixture of skin-loving ingredients to give you a boost from the inside-out. Whether you struggle with acne, pigmentation, fine lines or scarring, or simply are feeling the effects of the cold weather on your skin, leaving it dull and dry, mesotherapy can help.

Not only does mesotherapy introduce amazing skincare serums into the skin, but the injections actually prompt the skin to produce more collagen and elastin, as well as increasing the rate of skin turnover. All of this results in skin that is brighter, smoother, tighter and more youthful!

Usually, we recommend a course of four to six mesotherapy treatments a couple of weeks apart for optimum results, but you can also have a one-off treatment, which is sometimes known as the Red Carpet Treatment. Microneedling for Beautiful Skin Year-Round

Microneedling and mesotherapy are often confused or used interchangeably, but they are actually two different treatments! While mesotherapy injects skincare serums directly into the skin, microneedling uses tiny needles to create micro-channels in the skin, which allows any skincare applied after to absorb into the skin much more effectively! At Revolution Aesthetics, we use the Genosys DermaFix Pen device for our microneedling treatments, which allows us to carefully control needle depth and make sure your treatment is safe, comfortable and effective.

Like Mesotherapy, microneedling can also help to kickstart the skin’s own rejuvenation processes, as the tiny needle punctures are recognised as an injury by your body, even though they are harmless. This causes your body to flood the area with additional collagen and elastin (the substances that give skin its elasticity), creating a more youthful complexion, smoothing very fine lines and wrinkles and lifting skin that has drooped or sagged.

Microneedling can sound a bit scary to the uninitiated, but most of our patients find that it isn’t too uncomfortable at all, and the results simply speak for themselves!

Skin Peels - Get that Festive Glow
